About Us

Dennis Vaccaro is a native Chicagoan who majored in accounting at Roosevelt University. In order to gain work experience while completing his degree, he sought employment first at a small book-keeping company and later at a small CPA firm. Following graduation, Dennis worked for Price Waterhouse in their small business department, reaching the level of Senior Accountant. After leaving his job at Price Waterhouse, Dennis gained additional financial experience at various companies in the positions of assistant controller, controller, and regional controller. He also gained general management experience in the positions of assistant to the president and division general manager.

He became a Certified Public Accountant early in his career and has owned and operated his own public accounting practice. Dennis frequently enrolls in continuing education courses and is a member of the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants and Tax Practitioners of Illinois.

Dennis is well respected within the Chicago area business community. In addition to being a practicing CPA, he is the founder and Vice President of RV Enterprises, Ltd., a promotional products and printing company. He is an active member of the Niles Chamber of Commerce, the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce, the Harwood-Heights-Norridge Chamber of Commerce, the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce, and the Franklin Park-Schiller Park Chamber of Commerce where he serves on the Board of Directors.

Dennis brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to ACTSERV. His diverse background in both private and public accounting and general management experience allows him to serve as a valuable resource for clients with regard to many aspects of their businesses.

Richard Sassan is a native Chicagoan who majored in accounting at Winona State University. Following graduation, Richard worked for M Hyman and Son as the Accounting Assistant reaching the level of Corporate Controller. After leaving his job at M. Hyman and Son , Richard gained additional financial experience at various companies in the positions of Corporate Controller, Accounting Manager, and Financial Controller.

He became a Certified Public Accountant in 2002 and in September 2005 Richard opened up his own public accounting practice B & E Accounting Services, Inc. Richard frequently enrolls in continuing education courses and is a member of the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Professionals, Small Firm Practitioners and Tax Practitioners of Illinois.

Richard is well respected within the Chicago area business community. He is an active member of the, Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce, the Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association, and the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce where he serves on the Board of Directors and was the 2011 Chairman.

Richard brings a wealth of small business knowledge to ACTSERV. His diverse background in private accounting and corporate controllership experience allows him to serve as a valuable resource for clients with regard to many aspects of their businesses.
