About Us:

Having over 15 years of small business knowledge and experience working for small businesses I opened up the firm in September of 2005 to share my knowledge, educate the small business owner and to help them operate their business successfully.

With the ever changing complexity of operating a successful business, it is essential that one of the first things to be addressed is to have an accountant who will be there from the start to provide and supply you with the guidance and information you need to make your decision.

By taking a proactive approach, I will communicate the information to you in language you can understand which will enable you to concentrate on doing what you do best, growing your business. At the same time, I will provide you with suggestions and recommendations to help your business run more efficient.

Background:

I graduated from Saint Viator's High School in 1986, received my Accounting degree from Winona State University in 1991, and received my CPA certificate in 2002.  I had worked as a controller for various small businesses in the retail, manufacturing, and service industries. Some of my responsibilities were preparing the Financial Statements, Insurance, Payroll, Sales Tax Filings, negotiating with vendors, and working with the banks to get them the information they needed to make sure the company was in compliance.

Currently I serve on the Board of Directors of the Mount Prospect Chamber and previously served as the Treasure's of the Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association.
